The Legacy

A Legacy in Every Stitch

From the red dust of Johannesburg to the dreaming spires of OxfordCurated bag with vintage Singer sewing machine on leather-working bench

I grew up to the rhythmic hum of a sewing machine. My mother was a creator; I watched her hands knit, cut raw leather, and meticulously sew bags as a side-line business to support our family. Beside her was my father, a man of hard labour and quiet strength.

Lentoa is born from that grit and grace. Named for Lena and Thomas, our monogram is a tribute to the craftsmanship I witnessed in my childhood home in Johannesburg. Today, we carry that legacy forward from Oxford, England—curating excellence and commissioning every piece for a greater cause.

We don’t just make bags. We honour the hands that built our future.
